COMMUNITY ROUNDTABLE FORUM ON THE FUTURE OF YOUR BRANCH LIBRARIES – FIVE OF WHICH COULD CLOSE IN JULY – INCLUDING OLNEYVILLE LIBRARY!

Come and participate in an important and lively discussion about the future of the Providence Public Library system.

On February 18, there will be a community roundtable discussion in Olneyville about how best to preserve the City’s library branches, five of which are projected for closure by PPL in July. The City has only a few months to decide what to do about this problem, and this forum is planned as an informational event designed to educate residents of Olneyville on this issue so that they can advise their elected officials either to stay with PPL or to transfer the branches to the newly formed Providence Community Library.

Wed., Feb. 18th, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Olneyville Library
1 Olneyville Square, Providence

Forum co-sponsored by West Broadway Neighborhood Association, Olneyville Neighborhood Association, and English for Action.

Show the world that Providence cares about sustainability by registering on their site. It’s free and has no commitment.
