I’m pleased to report that last night’s gathering at The Liberty Elm, was well, liberating. This new diner entered the Providence scene a little over six months ago and is a wonderful combination of classic diner atmosphere combined with creative-class cafe.
Also featured at the gathering were wines from Newport Vineyards.

Thanks to Bilken’s Cafe and Grill, who this past Wednesday hosted a great Connect Providence event with wonderful food, a wonderful atmosphere, and of course, wonderful people. Bilken’s is off the beaten path and can be a bit difficult to find, but persevere, and you won’t be disappointed by their combination of great food, good prices, and historic decor.![]()
